Acceptable Use Policy

The limits on what this website, and the systems we build and run for you, may be used for. Short, specific, and enforced.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These policies are the standard basis on which we sell and engage clients. They are not legal advice, and they are not a substitute for advice on your own circumstances. Where you have signed an individual client agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over anything on this page. We recommend you take your own advice before entering any significant commitment.

This policy covers two different things: this website, and what we build for you. The second matters more. Automation, messaging and AI tools are easy to point at something they should not be pointed at, and pointing them there is a breach of your contract with us — not a grey area we will argue about later.

1. Who and what this covers

This policy applies to:

  • Anyone using this website — browsing, searching, submitting a form, placing an order.
  • Every client, for every system we build, configure, host or support. It continues to apply for as long as we are involved with that system, and it binds anyone you allow to use it.

It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Breaching it is breaching those terms.

The general standard, in one line: do not use what we provide to break the law, to harm someone, to deceive someone, or to do to a third-party platform what you would not want done to yours. The specifics below are examples of that principle, not an exhaustive list of every forbidden thing.

2. Using this website

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or database that has not been made available to you — including the administrative area.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation: overloading it, circumventing rate limits, or attempting to disrupt service for others.
  • Submit false, misleading or impersonating information through the contact, quote or checkout forms, or place an order in someone else’s name without their authority.
  • Use the forms to send unsolicited advertising, chain messages or malicious links.
  • Extract the catalogue in bulk by automated means, or systematically copy product descriptions, structure or artwork for republication.
  • Upload or transmit anything containing malware, or anything designed to exploit a vulnerability.
  • Use another person’s order number and email to view an order that is not yours.
  • Attempt payment with a card or account you are not authorised to use.

3. Unlawful and harmful use

You must not use anything we build, host or run for you — or this website — for:

  • Anything unlawful under the law of Kenya, or under the law where you or your users are.
  • Fraud or deception of any kind: fake shops, fake reviews, false identities, phishing, impersonating a business or an official body, or misrepresenting who a message is from.
  • Investment, financial or health claims that are false, or that promise outcomes you cannot deliver.
  • Money laundering, sanctions evasion, or handling the proceeds of crime.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, incitement to violence, or targeting an individual for abuse.
  • Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexually exploits anyone.
  • Collecting or exposing personal data without a lawful basis, or building a system whose purpose is to do so.
  • Anything designed to conceal who is responsible for an action from the people affected by it.

4. Content and rights

You must not use our services to publish, process or distribute:

  • Content you do not have the rights to — text, images, video, music, fonts, code, datasets or trademarks belonging to someone else.
  • Counterfeit goods, pirated software, cracked licences or circumvention tools.
  • Content that breaches a confidentiality obligation, or data you were not permitted to export from a previous system or employer.

When you give us content to use, you are confirming you hold the rights to it. If a claim arises because you did not, that is your responsibility — see our Terms.

5. Messaging, email and spam

We build systems that send email, SMS and chat messages at volume. Those systems must not be used for unsolicited bulk messaging. Specifically, you must not:

  • Send marketing messages to people who have not consented to receive them, where consent is required, or who have opted out.
  • Message a list you bought, scraped, harvested or otherwise obtained without those people knowing.
  • Send a message without a working, honest and easy way to unsubscribe, or ignore an unsubscribe once given.
  • Disguise the sender, forge headers, or use a subject line that misrepresents what the message is.
  • Route messages through infrastructure, domains or numbers set up to evade spam filtering, blocklists or platform limits.
  • Send messages that a platform’s own rules prohibit — for example marketing through a channel approved only for transactional use.

This is not only about the law. Sending spam through a system we built damages the sending reputation of the domains and numbers involved, and can get an account permanently banned by the platform. That harm is usually irreversible.

6. Automation, scraping and AI

Automation and AI tools do what they are told, quickly, at scale, and without judgement. That is what makes them useful and what makes this section necessary. You must not use automation, integrations or AI features we provide to:

  • Scrape or harvest data in breach of a website’s terms, its robots directives, or its technical access controls — including collecting personal data from a platform that forbids it.
  • Create accounts in bulk, defeat CAPTCHAs, or evade rate limits, bans or verification on any platform.
  • Generate content designed to deceive: fake reviews, fake testimonials, synthetic personas presented as real people, deepfakes of real individuals, or AI-written material passed off as the work or endorsement of someone who did not write or endorse it.
  • Manipulate rankings, ratings or metrics — click fraud, engagement farming, artificial traffic, or review manipulation.
  • Make decisions about people without human oversight where the decision has a legal or similarly significant effect — hiring, credit, insurance, housing, benefits or discipline. AI output is a draft for a human to check, not a verdict.
  • Produce advice presented as professional advice — legal, medical, financial or tax — without a qualified human standing behind it. See our Disclaimer.
  • Feed confidential or personal data into a third-party AI service without a lawful basis and without checking what that provider does with it.
  • Run high-volume automated requests against a third party’s systems in a way that degrades their service.

Where we build an automation for you, we will tell you what its limits should be. You control what it is subsequently pointed at, and you are responsible for that.

7. Security testing

Do not test, scan or attack a system you do not own and are not authorised in writing to test. That includes this website, our infrastructure, and any third-party platform your system connects to.

  • Vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, fuzzing, brute-forcing and denial-of -service testing all require the system owner’s written permission first.
  • Where we carry out security work for you, the scope is agreed in writing beforehand and we work only inside it.
  • If you find a genuine vulnerability in this website, please tell us rather than exploring it — see Reporting abuse. We will not pursue anyone who reports a flaw promptly, in good faith, without accessing other people’s data and without publishing it before we have had a fair chance to fix it.

8. Third-party platform rules

Most systems we build sit on top of someone else’s platform — a host, a payment provider, a messaging service, a marketplace, an AI provider. Each has its own acceptable use rules, and they are often stricter than the law.

You must comply with those rules as well as this policy. Breaching them can cost you the account, the data in it and the phone number or domain reputation attached to it, usually with no appeal. We will point you at the relevant rules for a platform we connect you to, but we cannot accept them on your behalf and we cannot protect you from the consequences of breaking them.

9. What happens if this is breached

Our response is proportionate to what has happened. In escalating order, we may:

  • Tell you and ask you to stop. Most breaches are a misunderstanding or something a staff member did without thinking, and this is where they end.
  • Suspend the affected service or access while it is sorted out — for example pausing an automation that is sending to a harvested list.
  • Suspend immediately without prior notice where the breach is serious, ongoing, or causing harm to third parties. We will tell you as soon as we have done it, and why.
  • Terminate the engagement under our Terms.
  • Report it to the affected platform, or to law enforcement, where we are required to or where serious harm is involved.

Termination for a breach of this policy is not a refund event. Work already performed remains chargeable, and the position is the one in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We will still hand over what has been completed and paid for.

We will not refuse service, suspend an account or terminate an engagement on the basis of who you are. This policy is about conduct.

10. Reporting abuse

If you believe this website, or a system we built, is being used in breach of this policy — spam, fraud, infringement, a security flaw, anything else — tell us at info@streamedgesolutions.com.

Please include, as far as you can:

  • What you saw, and where — a URL, a domain, a sending address or number.
  • When it happened, with dates and times.
  • Evidence: the message with its full headers, a screenshot, or the steps to reproduce a technical flaw.
  • How we can reach you, if you would like a reply.

We acknowledge every report. We investigate seriously and we do not pass a complaint about a client back to that client with your details attached unless you say we may. Reports of a security flaw are handled first.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this page as new ways of misusing a system appear — particularly with AI tooling, where the ground moves quickly. Continuing to use our services after a change means the current version applies. The date of the current version is at the top of this page.
