Pricing

Three ways to buy, and it is obvious which one applies

Some of what we do has a fixed scope and a published price, so you buy it outright. Some of it is ongoing, so you subscribe. A small amount genuinely varies too much to price in advance, so we quote it in writing. Nothing is sold all three ways.

How buying works

Which purchasing model applies to what you need

The pathway is set by the work, not by the customer. Every product in the shop carries exactly one of these labels, and the button on the product does exactly what the label says.

Most of the catalogue is fixed-price setup work, there is a short list of recurring plans for systems already running, and one product is quote-only. Custom work is not limited to that one product — anything you cannot find here goes through the quote route as well.

Published prices from $99 to $5,000, paid once

A defined scope at a published price, paid once. The figure on the product page is the figure you are charged for that scope.

Used for: Setup and build work with an agreed end point — websites, stores, business systems, integrations, audits and one-off marketing work.

    After you press it

    1. The item goes into your cart; add others if you need them.
    2. Checkout takes your details and asks a few questions about the project. Nothing is charged at this step.
    3. We review the requirements, confirm the scope, and send an invoice with payment details.
    4. Once payment is recorded, the work is scheduled and starts.

14 monthly plans from $49 per month · 2 annual plans from $249 per year

A recurring plan, billed monthly or annually, covering work that never really finishes. It runs until you stop it.

Used for: Monitoring, backups, security patching, maintenance and managed infrastructure for systems already in production.

    After you press it

    1. Choose the plan that matches what you need covered.
    2. Checkout asks which site, server or system the plan applies to. Nothing is charged at this step.
    3. We confirm what the plan covers and invoice the first period in advance.
    4. Each following period is invoiced in advance until you tell us to stop.

No published price — the proposal states the figure

Work whose scope varies too much for a published price. We scope it with you and put the price in writing before anything is committed.

Used for: Enterprise systems, multi-part programmes of work, and anything you cannot find packaged in the shop.

    After you press it

    1. Send your requirements, budget range and timeline on the quote form.
    2. We come back with questions where the requirements are not yet clear.
    3. You receive a written proposal: deliverables, milestones, timeline and price.
    4. If you accept it, invoicing follows the terms set out in that proposal.

Starting prices

What each type of work starts at

Each figure is the price of the cheapest real package in that service line, read straight from the shop. It is a starting point for that kind of work, not a cap and not an average.

Every recurring plan, in full

Recurring work is a small part of what we sell — 16 of 162 products — so here is the complete list rather than a selection. Each one covers a system that is already live and needs keeping that way.

Recurring plan. Cancel before the next renewal to stop it. Plans are quoted per site, server or system — if you need several covered under one arrangement, ask for a quote instead.

What moves the price

The factors that change a quote

Two projects described in the same sentence can differ by a factor of five. These are the variables we assess when scoping, and they apply to fixed-price packages the moment you ask for something outside the stated scope.

  • Number of pages, screens or modules
  • Complexity of the functionality required
  • Third-party integrations and whether provider access is available
  • Whether content, copywriting and imagery are supplied or produced
  • Data migration from an existing system
  • Delivery timeline and any compressed schedule
  • Level of ongoing support required after launch

Where a package stops and a quote starts

Every product page lists what it excludes alongside what it includes. If what you need falls outside that, the honest answer is a quote rather than a package plus a series of change requests — so that is what we will say.

Online payment is not connected yet

You can put an order together on this website, but nothing is charged here. “Buy now” and “Subscribe” record your order and your requirements; we then confirm the scope and send an invoice with the payment details on it.

We would rather say this plainly than take you to a payment screen that does not work. Prices on this site are what you will be invoiced for the scope described.

Accepted payment methods

Payment methods are confirmed with your invoice. We list a method here only once it has been configured for our business, so please contact us to confirm the current options before making any payment.

Always verify payment details directly with us before transferring funds. We will never ask you to send payment to an account other than the one stated on your invoice.

Payment terms

Project work normally begins after an initial deposit, with the balance payable against agreed milestones. The exact deposit percentage and milestone schedule are stated in your proposal and agreement — they depend on the size and duration of the project, so we do not fix them in advance here.

Recurring plans are invoiced in advance for the coming period. Prices exclude any applicable taxes, third-party licence fees and hosting costs unless your proposal states otherwise.

Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations are handled at each stage of a project, and how deposits, completed milestones and recurring plans are treated.
