What we need from you

Nothing starts until these are in place, and the turnaround above is measured from that point — not from the moment you pay.

  • A product list with prices, variants and images, in any spreadsheet format
  • A merchant account with a payment provider, or the application started before the build begins
  • A statement of how orders are fulfilled, since dispatch notifications are configured around it
  • Access to your domain registrar and hosting, or authority to arrange both

What's not included

Just as plainly as the list above: the things this package is not.

  • The merchant account itself, which you apply for and hold in your own business name
  • Transaction fees, gateway charges and platform subscription fees, paid by you to the provider directly
  • Product photography, product descriptions and any copywriting
  • Warehousing, packing, courier arrangements and anything requiring physical handling by us
  • Tax, customs or trading compliance advice for the goods you sell
  • Marketplace or multi-vendor functionality, which is a different product entirely

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

Can you take payments on our behalf?

No, and we would not offer to. The gateway is integrated against a merchant account in your own business name, so funds settle to you directly and the provider relationship is yours. We can advise on which providers suit your goods and country, but the application and the approval decision sit with them.

What happens if I stop after the store is built but before payments are connected?

The Starter Online Store is charged at its individual list price of $999, the package saving is withdrawn, and $1,500 of the $2,499 is refunded. If we had begun the payment work but not completed it, we would charge only for what was delivered and set that out in writing first.

What happens to the backups after three months?

They stop unless you ask for them to continue at the listed $49 per month. Nothing renews on its own. For a store this matters more than for a brochure site, because an unrecoverable database means losing order history, so we will remind you before the three months end.

Fifty products is not enough for us. What then?

Additional products can be loaded as an add-on, or if your range runs to several hundred the Professional E-commerce Store is the more honest starting point and we would say so before you buy. We confirm the product count during scoping precisely so the number does not become an argument mid-build.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.
