The four questions this page answers

  1. 1

    What you buy

A one-off remote build connecting your system to a mobile money service you already hold a merchant or till account with, so customers can pay from their phone and your system knows which payment belongs to which order without anyone reading SMS messages. It depends on that provider’s API, so we run a feasibility review before development starts.

  2. 2

    What you get

4 deliverables, listed in full below

    • Working mobile money checkout
    • Automatic order matching
    • Verified callback handling

  3. 3

    How it is delivered

  4. 4

    How long it takes

    2–3 weeks

Measured from the point everything under “what we need from you” is with us, not from the moment you pay.

What is this, in plain English?

A one-off remote build connecting your system to a mobile money service you already hold a merchant or till account with, so customers can pay from their phone and your system knows which payment belongs to which order without anyone reading SMS messages. It depends on that provider’s API, so we run a feasibility review before development starts.

Mobile money is how a great many customers prefer to pay, but the manual version — customer pays, sends a screenshot, someone checks the SMS — does not scale and is easy to defraud. This connects the provider’s API directly, matches the payment reference to the order, and confirms only on the provider’s own callback.

The problem it solves

Customers pay by mobile money and then send you a screenshot, and someone has to check every one by hand against the message log.

If that does not describe you, this is probably the wrong product. Tell us and we will point you at a better fit rather than sell you the nearest one.

What you get

The concrete things that exist at the end and that you own.

Not seeing something you expected? Check what you are not buying before you order.

What does it do?

Everything listed here is delivered as part of this product. Nothing on this list is aspirational.

  • Customer-initiated payment prompt from your checkout
  • Automatic matching of payment to order reference
  • Provider callback verification
  • Timeout and cancellation handling
  • Partial and duplicate payment detection
  • A daily settlement report

How it works

The delivery sequence from order to handover.

  1. 1

    Feasibility review

Before development starts we confirm what your provider requires and what their API actually supports for your account type and country. If it will not support the scope, you hear it before we build.

  2. 2

    Build in sandbox

Payment prompt, callback and matching logic built against the test environment.

  3. 3

    Handle the awkward cases

Timeouts, wrong amounts, duplicate payments and cancellations.

  4. 4

    Test live with small amounts

Real transactions of minimal value before opening to customers.

  5. 5

    Hand over with reporting

You get a settlement report and documentation of every failure path.

Delivery & fulfilment

Stream Edge Solutions ships nothing. Every package on this site is carried out and handed over remotely — this is exactly what happens after you order.

REMOTE SERVICEHow this is delivered
  1. 1We confirm requirementsWe read what you sent with the order, come back in writing with anything missing, and agree the scope before any chargeable work starts.
  2. 2We build and configure remotelySetup, configuration and testing are done by our team over a remote connection — on your systems or on ours, whichever the package specifies.
  3. 3We hand it overYou receive the working setup, the credentials, the documentation and a walkthrough. Everything built for you is yours at handover.

Carried out remotely by our team. Nothing is posted and no one visits. Typical turnaround: 2–3 weeks.

Full detail of how work is handed over, what happens if requirements are outstanding and how order records are kept is in the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

What we need from you

Nothing starts until these are in place, and the turnaround above is measured from that point — not from the moment you pay.

  • An approved merchant or till account held with the provider in your own business name
  • API credentials issued by the provider to your business — we cannot obtain them for you
  • A publicly reachable callback endpoint
  • Acceptance that delivery depends on the provider’s API and their approval of your account; we claim no partnership or accreditation with any mobile money operator

Who this is for

  • Businesses whose customers pay predominantly by phone
  • Anyone manually matching mobile money receipts to orders
  • Retailers wanting payment confirmed before dispatch
  • Service businesses collecting deposits

What's not included

Just as plainly as the list above: the things this package is not.

  • Provider registration and approval, which is between you and them
  • Anything the provider’s API does not expose for your account type. If the feasibility review finds a blocker, we say so before development starts and either rescope or cancel under the refund policy
  • Provider transaction charges
  • Reversal or refund handling beyond what the provider’s API exposes
  • Confirming a payment on a screenshot — the system only trusts the provider callback

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

Which providers do you support?

Any provider with a documented API and a business account available to you. We confirm the specific provider’s capabilities during feasibility before quoting.

What if the customer pays the wrong amount?

The payment is recorded as received but the order is not marked fully paid. It appears in an exceptions list for someone to resolve — which is the honest behaviour rather than guessing.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.

The full terms, item type by item type, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. How the work reaches you is covered by the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

Not sure this is the right product?

We would rather point you at the right thing than sell you the nearest one. Ask us before you buy — no obligation.
