An automated workflow: trigger, rule, action and notification — illustrative concept, not a screenshot of a client system
An automated workflow: trigger, rule, action and notification. Illustrative interface concept — not a screenshot of a client deployment.

What is this, in plain English?

We map two of your repetitive processes as they are actually done, automate both, add the notifications and the reporting that make the results visible, and leave you the documentation.

A deliberately small first step into automation, sized so a business can judge the result before committing further. It combines two Workflow Automation Solution engagements, one per process, plus Notification Automation and Reporting Automation. Those list at $3,296 in total, so the package price of $2,799 saves $497.

The problem it solves

The same handful of tasks eat a day a week: copying figures between a spreadsheet and an email, chasing someone for an approval, rebuilding the same report every Monday. Everyone knows it is wasteful and nobody has time to stop and fix it.

If that does not describe you, this is probably the wrong product. Tell us and we will point you at a better fit rather than sell you the nearest one.

What you get

The concrete things that exist at the end and that you own.

What does it do?

Everything listed here is delivered as part of this product. Nothing on this list is aspirational.

  • Two processes mapped as they are done today, including the informal steps nobody documents
  • Two automations built, each replacing a named sequence of manual actions
  • Both run in parallel with the manual process before anything is switched off
  • Notifications to the right people when something completes, stalls or fails
  • A scheduled report showing volume, time saved and exceptions
  • Exception handling, so unusual cases go to a human rather than failing silently
  • Written process documentation you keep, including the diagrams

How it works

The delivery sequence from order to handover.

  1. 1

    Choose the two processes

We review your candidates against frequency, volume and how well defined the rules are, and recommend which two to start with.

  2. 2

    Map what actually happens

We sit with the people doing the work. The documented process and the real one differ almost every time, and the real one is what gets automated.

  3. 3

    Build the first automation

The first process is built, then run alongside the manual version so results can be compared before anything is trusted.

  4. 4

    Build the second

The second process follows the same pattern, using what the first one taught us about your exceptions.

  5. 5

    Add visibility

Notifications and a scheduled report are configured so failures surface immediately rather than a fortnight later.

  6. 6

    Hand over and switch

Staff are trained, documentation is handed over, and only then is the manual process retired.

Delivery & fulfilment

Stream Edge Solutions ships nothing. Every package on this site is carried out and handed over remotely — this is exactly what happens after you order.

REMOTE SERVICEHow this is delivered
  1. 1We confirm requirementsWe read what you sent with the order, come back in writing with anything missing, and agree the scope before any chargeable work starts.
  2. 2We build and configure remotelySetup, configuration and testing are done by our team over a remote connection — on your systems or on ours, whichever the package specifies.
  3. 3We hand it overYou receive the working setup, the credentials, the documentation and a walkthrough. Everything built for you is yours at handover.

Carried out remotely by our team. Nothing is posted and no one visits. Typical turnaround: 8–10 weeks, with the two processes run in sequence rather than together.

Full detail of how work is handed over, what happens if requirements are outstanding and how order records are kept is in the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

What we need from you

Nothing starts until these are in place, and the turnaround above is measured from that point — not from the moment you pay.

  • Access to the systems involved, with credentials that permit automated actions
  • Time with the staff who currently do the work, which is the single biggest cause of delay
  • A named person who can decide what happens to exceptions when the rules run out
  • Sample data or recent real cases, including the awkward ones rather than only the tidy ones

Who this is for

  • Operations managers who can name the two worst repetitive jobs immediately
  • Businesses of ten to eighty staff with grown-up spreadsheets holding things together
  • Finance and admin teams doing manual re-keying between systems
  • Anyone burned by a large automation project and wanting a smaller test first

Business needs this addresses: Automate work, Improve operations

What's not included

Just as plainly as the list above: the things this package is not.

  • A third process, which is quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly
  • Subscription fees for the tools the automation runs on, paid by you to the provider directly
  • Building a new system where none exists today, which is software development, not automation
  • Redesign of the underlying business process, as opposed to automating the one you have
  • Any commitment about headcount reduction or a specific number of hours saved

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

Why only two processes?

Because the first automation always teaches us something about your exceptions that changes how the next one is built. Automating five at once means repeating the same wrong assumption five times. Two is enough to prove the approach and small enough to abandon if it does not suit you.

Can I stop after the first process is live?

Yes. That first Workflow Automation Solution is charged at its individual list price of $999, the package saving is removed since you are not taking the package, and $1,800 of the $2,799 is refunded. You keep the process map, the working automation and the documentation for the process that was delivered.

What happens when the automation goes wrong?

Automations depend on third-party systems that change their interfaces, expire their credentials and go offline without warning, so failures are a question of when. That is why notifications and exception handling are in the package rather than sold as an extra. Anything the rules cannot handle is routed to a person instead of being guessed at.

Will this let us reduce staff?

We will not make that claim. What we can measure is how many manual steps a process took before and after, and the report shows exactly that. What a business does with recovered time is a management decision, and any supplier quoting you a headcount figure is inventing it.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.

The full terms, item type by item type, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. How the work reaches you is covered by the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

Not sure this is the right product?

We would rather point you at the right thing than sell you the nearest one. Ask us before you buy — no obligation.
