What is this, in plain English?

Designed artwork for a business card, a letterhead and a compliment slip, exported to the file specification a commercial printer asks for.

You are buying artwork files, not printed cards. We design the pieces, set them up correctly for print with bleed and crop marks, and send you the files. You choose a printer, place the order and pay them directly. Stream Edge prints nothing, holds no stock and ships no goods.

The problem it solves

A printer has asked for a press-ready PDF with bleed at 300dpi in CMYK, and all you have is a card layout someone made in Word that comes back looking washed out with the text cut off at the edge.

If that does not describe you, this is probably the wrong product. Tell us and we will point you at a better fit rather than sell you the nearest one.

What you get

The concrete things that exist at the end and that you own.

5 deliverables

  • Press-ready letterhead PDFs in A4 and US Letter
  • Press-ready compliment slip PDF
  • An editable letterhead for Word and Google Docs
  • Flat preview images of every piece for internal approval

What's included

What does it do?

Everything listed here is delivered as part of this product. Nothing on this list is aspirational.

  • Business card artwork, front and back
  • Letterhead artwork in both A4 and US Letter sizes
  • Compliment slip artwork
  • Two layout concepts, then two rounds of revisions
  • Press-ready PDFs in CMYK with 3mm bleed and crop marks
  • Fonts outlined so the printer cannot substitute them
  • An editable Word and Google Docs letterhead for everyday use
  • Up to five name variants on the business card

How it works

The delivery sequence from order to handover.

  1. 1

    Collect the details

You send the exact wording for every piece: names, titles, addresses, numbers and any registration lines required by law.

  2. 2

    Ask your printer

You send us your printer specification, or we use standard commercial settings if you have not chosen one yet.

  3. 3

    Two concepts

Two layout treatments applied across all three pieces, shown as proofs.

  4. 4

    Two revision rounds

Changes to layout and wording. Proofreading is your responsibility at this stage.

  5. 5

    Final files

Press-ready PDFs plus the editable everyday letterhead, sent by download link.

Full detail of how work is handed over, what happens if requirements are outstanding and how order records are kept is in the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

What we need from you

Nothing starts until these are in place, and the turnaround above is measured from that point — not from the moment you pay.

  • Usable vector logo artwork, or the Logo Design product first
  • Final wording for every piece, checked by you for spelling
  • Your printer specification if you already have one
  • Any legally required company registration or regulatory lines

Who this is for

  • Businesses that have a logo but no proper stationery artwork
  • Firms whose printer has rejected the files they supplied
  • Companies changing address, phone number or trading name
  • Professional practices that still exchange cards in person

Business needs this addresses: Build an online presence

What's not included

Just as plainly as the list above: the things this package is not.

  • Printing itself. We do not print, order printing, pay printers, hold stock or ship anything. You place the order with a printer of your choice and pay them directly.
  • Paper stock selection, proofing at the press, delivery charges and any reprint costs
  • Special finishes such as foiling, embossing, spot varnish or die cutting, which need supplier-specific artwork quoted separately
  • Proofreading. Names, titles, numbers and legal lines are checked and approved by you before release.
  • Font and stock image licences, bought in your own name
  • Logo design, if you do not already have usable vector artwork

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

Do you print and post the cards to me?

No, and this is the most common question on this product. Stream Edge is a remote digital business. We supply the artwork as files, and you take those files to a printer near you or an online printing service. Nothing physical is produced, stored or shipped by us at any point.

My printer says the file is wrong. What now?

Send us what they asked for and we re-export once at no charge, because printers vary in what they want. Repeated re-exports for a series of different printers are charged at a small fee agreed in advance. We cannot be responsible for the quality of the final print, which is between you and the printer.

What if I approve the artwork with a typo in it?

You are responsible for checking every name, number and address before you approve the files. Once you have approved and we have released the press-ready files, corrections are treated as a new revision round and charged. If the error is ours against the wording you supplied, we fix it free.

What if I dislike both layout concepts?

Tell us in writing what is wrong and a third concept is quoted as a separate fee before it starts. The fee already paid covers the concepts presented and the work behind them, so it is not refunded at that stage.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.

The full terms, item type by item type, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. How the work reaches you is covered by the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

Not sure this is the right product?

We would rather point you at the right thing than sell you the nearest one. Ask us before you buy — no obligation.
