What is this, in plain English?

A reusable presentation template with the colours, fonts and layouts built into the slide master, so anyone in the business can make a decent-looking deck from it.

This is the empty shell, not a finished presentation. Pitch Deck Design produces one specific deck from your content; this produces the layouts your staff will reuse for years. It is supplied for both PowerPoint and Google Slides, with a recorded walkthrough of how to use it.

The problem it solves

Everyone in the business starts a new deck by copying an old one from a colleague. An out-of-date logo, a stray font and a layout somebody improvised two years ago then spread through the company, one presentation at a time.

If that does not describe you, this is probably the wrong product. Tell us and we will point you at a better fit rather than sell you the nearest one.

What you get

The concrete things that exist at the end and that you own.

What does it do?

Everything listed here is delivered as part of this product. Nothing on this list is aspirational.

  • Twenty master layouts covering title, agenda, content, quote, chart, team and closing slides
  • Colours and fonts set in the slide master, not typed onto individual slides
  • Chart and table styles pre-formatted to match
  • Ten matching icons included for use inside slides
  • Two template directions presented, then two rounds of revisions
  • Supplied as a PowerPoint template file and as a Google Slides file
  • A recorded walkthrough on using the layouts correctly

How it works

The delivery sequence from order to handover.

  1. 1

    Audit your current decks

You send two or three recent presentations so we design layouts for the slides you actually make.

  2. 2

    Two directions

Two template treatments shown across five representative layouts each.

  3. 3

    Build the master

The chosen direction is built properly into the slide master and layouts.

  4. 4

    Two revision rounds

Changes applied at master level so they carry through every layout at once.

  5. 5

    Test and record

We rebuild one of your existing decks in the template as a test, then record the walkthrough.

  2. 2We build and configure remotelySetup, configuration and testing are done by our team over a remote connection — on your systems or on ours, whichever the package specifies.
  3. 3We hand it overYou receive the working setup, the credentials, the documentation and a walkthrough. Everything built for you is yours at handover.

Full detail of how work is handed over, what happens if requirements are outstanding and how order records are kept is in the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.

What we need from you

Nothing starts until these are in place, and the turnaround above is measured from that point — not from the moment you pay.

  • Two or three recent presentations so we can see what you actually build
  • Logo artwork and brand colours, or the identity files if we made them
  • Confirmation of which presentation software your team uses day to day
  • One person to approve the direction on behalf of everyone who will use it

Who this is for

  • Businesses where several people build client-facing decks
  • Consultancies producing proposals and reports as slides
  • Training teams that present regularly
  • Companies that have just changed their identity and need it applied

What's not included

Just as plainly as the list above: the things this package is not.

  • Designing your actual presentations. The template is a shell; a specific deck is the Pitch Deck Design product.
  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace subscriptions, paid by you to those providers
  • Commercial font licences. Where you want a foundry typeface, the licence is bought in your name; otherwise we specify a system or open-licence font.
  • Complex animation, video embedding and interactive slide behaviour
  • Converting your entire archive of old presentations into the new template
  • Printed handouts of any kind. Everything here is delivered as digital files.

Anything outside the scope above is quoted separately, in writing, before it is carried out. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.

FAQs

How is this different from Pitch Deck Design?

This is the empty template your team fills in repeatedly. Pitch Deck Design is one specific presentation designed from content you supply for a particular meeting. Businesses often buy the deck first and the template afterwards, once they know which layouts they keep reaching for.

Why do the fonts change on some computers?

Presentation software substitutes a font when the file is opened on a machine where that font is not installed, which is outside the control of whoever built the file. We specify fonts that are either installed by default or freely installable, and the walkthrough explains how to install them across your team. If you insist on a commercial foundry font, every user needs a licence.

What if the two directions both miss?

Written feedback on both, then a third direction quoted as a separate fee before work restarts. The original fee covers the audit and the two directions presented and is not refunded, since the design work behind them has been carried out.

Will you convert our old decks into the new template?

One deck is rebuilt as a worked example so your team can see it done. Converting a back catalogue is quoted per deck, because it is content work rather than design work and the effort depends entirely on how the originals were built.

Refund & cancellation

What happens if you change your mind, and what happens to money already paid.

Cooling-off before work starts
You have 7 days after ordering to cancel while work has not yet begun. Up to 25% may be retained to cover scoping and scheduling already carried out.
Work already done
Once delivery has started, refunds are assessed against the work completed and the deliverables already handed over — the list under “what you get” above is what that assessment is made against. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
If we cannot deliver what is described here
You are refunded. The scope on this page is the scope we are held to, which is exactly why the exclusions above are stated before you buy rather than after.

The full terms, item type by item type, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. How the work reaches you is covered by the Delivery & Fulfilment Policy.
